Conservative Ally

Once again more news about Obama’s pastors have come up in the media.

Rev. Michael Pfleger spoke at Obama’s church about Hillary Clinton, and how he thinks that Hillary thinks she is entitled to the nomination because she is white!

Back to race. All of Obama’s pastors bring up race constantly and how America is rampant with racism. And of course we all remember Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. and his views that America should be damned.

What a person believes says a lot about their character. Even if Obama does not belong to the Trinity United Church of Christ anymore, he did not go there for 20 years because he does not believe in this church. It is not like the church’s views drastically changed during the last 20 years until now.

Here is a little bit of what the Trinity United Church of Christ believes based on their website:

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian… Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain “true to our native land,” the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:

1. A congregation committed to ADORATION.
2. A congregation preaching SALVATION.
3. A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
4. A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
5. A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
6. A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.
7. A congregation committed to the HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF AFRICAN PEOPLE IN DIASPORA.
8. A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
9. A congregation committed to RESTORATION.
10. A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY.

I know we should not care about what the President of the United States religion views are. However, shouldn’t we care a little, if the President of the United States wants to change up America so much, based partly on his religious beliefs. The fact that America should be damned or changed is something to think about.

What does being a conservative mean? There are so many different terms and definitions out there. Some people say they believe this part of being a conservative while not this aspect of it. Well, the good thing about our society is that you can choose to be a little of whatever you want.

Here are three beliefs of a Conservative:

Fiscal/Financial Conservative - One who believes in limited spending by the Government and low taxes. And that entitlement programs and handing out and taking money from special interested groups are not right.

Social Conservative - That God should still remain in our lives. Social conservatives also believe in protecting life and human rights. Traditional American values and that people should take responsibly for their own actions.

Constitution Conservative - One who believes in preserving the constitution of which it was founded upon and that the Federal Government should limit themselves from interfering with the constitution. Against the government intruding in people’s lives, rights, and property rights.

I think that believing in all three of this definitions make you a true conservative. However, you can believe in just one or two of these and still be a conservative. There are of course other issues that go along with these definitions, but this is just a basic start to defining yourself as a conservative.

Scholar R.J. White once defined conservative this way:

“To put conservatism in a bottle with a label is like trying to liquefy the atmosphere…The difficulty arises from the nature of the thing. For conservatism is less a political doctrine than a habit of mind, a mode of feeling, a way of living.”

Does your vote really count in an presidential election?

Yes your vote does really count! The presidential election can be kind of confusing. The president is elected by the electoral college. Each state has its own process of electing the electors. A president needs 270 electoral votes to win presidency.

So yes, your vote does count, it just counts by your state. You are basically voting in a state election, but your vote counts just as much as anybody else’s in your state. However, the size of your state matters. Your vote will not count as much as somebody else in another state. For example if you live in a big state like California you vote will count less, because of the population size. If you live in a smaller state like Alaska you vote will count more because you live in a smaller state. Although your vote still counts! So vote for a presidential candidate of the United States. And choose wisely after listening to all sides.

Here are a few other ways to make your vote count:

1. Find a petition that you like and sign it! Petitions are another way to make your voice heard and they really count too!

2. Talk to people around you. Voicing your views about the presidency election is important and should be talked about.

3. Vote for the candidate closest to your party and the one you agree with the most.

Dunkin Donuts’ online ad of Rachel Ray was pulled yesterday. Apparently Rachel Ray was wearing a scarf that symbolized support for terrorism. The scarf is black and white and looks similar to kaffiyeh, a Palestinian scarf. The kaffiyeh has been worn by many terrorist and Yasser Arafat in beheading videos.

I personally would not have connected the two. However, scarves that resemble the kaffiyeh are becoming popular by people in America who do not like America. Fashion stylists actually make this kaffiyeh type like scarf for people to wear! Many celebrities and left-wingers are wearing this scarf. Yes, that is fine to wear anything you want. I believe in more freedoms. It is just odd that people want to wear something that symbolizes other people that want to kill them. To wear something that is against freedom and against America could at one time be seen as treason.

This Dunkin Donuts’ ad has created quite a stir in the blogosphere and so yesterday it was removed. Dunkin Donuts said that the scarf of course had no intended meaning. I am glad to see the ad pulled. I had no clue about such scarves and will make sure I do not wear such a scarf. I am proud that the Dunkin Donuts company honors American by taking down the ad.

The media really is biased! And the media is really biased with a liberal perspective. They say they are not biased and talk about all sides, but nope, the majority of news stations are biased. First of all news stations have to make money and entertainment makes money. So news stations are just another form of entertainment. Why do you think there are not that many happy stories on the news? Because they don’t attract attention like tragic stories. And yes, I say that the majority of news stations are liberal. For one reason, they learn to be liberal from the colleges that teach them to be open-minded while at the same time teaching them to be liberal, but that’s another post all together.

The media loves Obama! Have you notice that most news stations pounce on McCain when he misspeaks and are nice to Obama when he “misspeaks.” Just like today when Obama “misspoke” about his Uncle in WW11 and then we find out that he doesn’t even have an uncle and that no Americans even went into the area that he was talking about! What is that all about? So Obama does not even know history, yet alone his own family history and he is running to be the President of the United States!

Also what is with all of these “misspeaks?” Clinton and Obama have both had some major “misspeaks” regarding history. These candidates are just basically lying. I mean I know people do make mistakes and might talk about the wrong region or group of people when they meant somebody else. However, these long intentional “misspeaking” stories are too elaborate and repeated too many times to actually be misspeaking. And they lie for many reasons, one of them could be that do not have enough real experience to talk about so they lie. I just do not think we should vote for a candidate that does not have experience in war, during our time of war.

By the way one news station that is pretty fair is Fox network news. Check them out sometime. They bring on both conservatives and liberals and you can listen to both sides! Plus, the majority of the newscasters are not liberal biased like many of the other news stations.

Everybody who loves America should stand up for their country! Whether you are a republican or democrat, conservative or liberal. America stands for freedom. We cannot take our freedom for granted. Millions and millions of people have died for our country and we should never forget that. We should also honor it more than just one day a year! There are still millions of people who do not live in a free society. Be thankful that we have the right to vote, bare arms, work, property rights, religion, free speech…and on and on. Thank you to all the soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom!

And thank you to all the soldiers that are fighting right now for our beautiful country!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a good time with their loves ones and friends. Memorial day is often the kick off day to summertime for many people. Summer is the time for vacations, beaches, and fun! Whether you are traveling or not this summer, gas prices are high and they will go up for summer too.

Demand and supply has a lot to do with it. The good thing about high oil prices is that exploration for more oil will go up. Oil companies will have the profits and be able to pay for drilling for more oil, that is if the congress allows it. The higher the price the more oil will become available. High oil prices also allow more and more efforts towards alternative fuels.

Technology has come so far! Look how far we have come! One day we will be off of oil all together, not because we will run out, but because we will find alternative ways that will be better for our economy, environment, and national security. America is such a great country, because of our free market, capitalism, and determination to find new ways to become more and more efficient.

We must take back America! We need to fight right here in America and stand up for what we believe in. We need to teach our children right from wrong and not expect schools to do so. Schools also need to teach both sides of history. We need to to stop distorting the constitution. We need to stand up for our freedom of rights, without over analyzing everything. People need to stop their learned helplessness behavior and start taking responsibility for the consequences of their own actions. We must take back America!

I don’t mean to go off on a rant here, but here’s the bottom line, I want my country back.

I want my kids to be able to walk to the store or walk to school without being abducted by some 3-time convicted child molester. And the politically correct powers that be in this country just can’t seem to get over themselves with “CAN’T WE JUST HELP THIS PERSON!” No! You can’t. But they’re let loose to prey on more children.

I want my kids back. I want my country back.

I don’t agree with everything this President does. I’ve never agreed with anything 100% that any President has done or said.

You know, I was very young during the Vietnam War. So I probably missed that thing by a hair. I don’t know whether I would have agreed with that or not at the time. I was too stupid to have an opinion at that point and time even though I thought I did.

I want my country back.

I want some semblance of respect for authority, whether I agree with it all or not.

I want the Boy Scouts to be “boy” scouts, not boy and “we think she’s a girl” scouts. I want Girl Scouts to be “girl” scouts not Girl Scouts and “Bruce.”

I want my country back.

I want to be able to wake up in the morning knowing that I can walk outside without some gang-banger on parole taking my life.

Or being able to go down and purchase a car without having to worry about you know 90% of the parts being made overseas in some sweatshop.

I want my politicians, when they finally do get my vote, to do what the hell they said they were going to do in the first place.

I want the Abramoff’s of the world to be labeled what they…nothing more than organized crime in a better suit.

I want the Hollywood elite to make movies to entertain me. Not use their celebrity to sway me politically one way or the other.

Quite honestly, if you’re a has-been-pseudo-celebrity I want you to go away quietly, so that I can remember you fondly through your “artiste work” that’s left in the archives.

I want people to say something and when they say something look at me in the eye. And mean what they say. Not say what they think I want to hear. And then do what they want to later politically or any other way.

I want to be able to go out and work and make a decent wage and buy a home. Half the people that are listening to me right now can’t even afford to buy a house unless they’re working three jobs.

And I want America to be America. All of those opportunities, all of those things that made her great, I want those returned to the forefront. If you want to come to this country we welcome you with open arms. We simply ask that you abide by our laws. I don’t want you to snub your nose at our laws, then take advantage of our opportunities, and then cling to the constitution most of which you can’t even read because you don’t speak the language.

I want us to secure our borders because the country is worth securing. The people that live here are worth protecting.

I want my country back. I want my children back.

I want some semblance of what this country used to be.

It’s worth protecting. It’s worth defending.

I don’t recognize this country anymore.

Not politically, not philosophically, not spiritually.

Whether you like it or whether you don’t God was a part of building this great nation. To remove him is to take away the very foundation of what this country was all about.

I don’t care about your political correctness!

I don’t want to know your sexual preference!

I could care less about all of that. Stop making it the headline of the day!

That’s not America.

I want my country back!

And the only way I’m ever going to be able to get this country back is if I reach out to the brothers and the sisters that all feel the same way and we say “Hell No! You can’t have our country.”

It’s not for sale! Take the price tag off this country!

Take the price tag off the heads of our children!

Stop it already!

The politically-correct-psychobabble-hug-a-tree-experts ; You are not qualified to release sex offenders back into our neighborhoods.

The southern border, more than any other border, needs to be secured tomorrow. For all those that wish to come to this country to take advantage of her opportunity, to live under a constitution a living document that breathes in and out just like you do, this country is not for sale.

I should know. I’m one of the owners. You can’t sell it without my permission.

I want my country back!

The number one issue right now should be national security! Yes, our economy, taxes, and all the other issues are very important, but if we are not around to enjoy or complain about the other problems, then there is no point. American needs to remain strong and not back down from terrorists that want to attack our country. We need to be very careful about who we put in to be the commander in chief of the United States of America! Please do not forget that the President is the commander in chief, head of the military. A president especially during a time of war, should have experience with wars.

Political parties have change a great deal over the years.
Republicans need to come back to their roots. More republicans are becoming more and more liberal. Perhaps many republicans become more liberal to please liberals or they really believe differently.

Please republicans, now is the time to become more conservative. We need to stand up for what we believe in, we can’t keep silent just because we do not want to fight with liberals.

We need to protect our borders against people who break laws, people called illegal immigrants. Continue spending on our military to fight against terrorists. Protecting our borders goes along with fighting the war on terror, we cannot have our borders open, letting just any terrorist come right in. Taxes. Lets stop being slaves to taxes. We are tax to death and make our children pay for it too. Also less government would be nice.
