We are taxed to death. We are basically slaves to the government through taxes. For every dollar you make, you are only really making 70% of that dollar from paying income taxes.

Barack Obama wants to raise the taxes for oil companies, which will just cause the price of gas to go up. If Obama puts a cap on gas prices, then the oil companies will decrease production. If gas companies cannot make a profit then there will be no supply/gas!

Barack Obama wants to raise the taxes for social security. Obama wants to raise cap on payroll tax for 3% of earners over $102,000. He wants to raise $97K cap on payroll tax, which will be a $1.3T tax increase. Obama wants to stop any effort to privatize social security. He also wants to allow illegal aliens to have social security.

Barack Obama is against all of Bush’s tax cuts on corporations. He is against extending tax cuts on capital gains and dividends. He is against supporting the permanence of estate tax cuts. The wealthy will pay more taxes. He wants to develop a strategy (more taxes) to eliminate extreme global poverty. Barack Obama believes that the last thing we need is a permanent tax cut.
