5 Sarah Palin Rumors Debunked
Sarah Palin will be an excellent jump for women if she is elected to be the first woman Vice President of the United States. Yet, so many liberal feminist do not think it is great for women, because Sarah Palin is a Republican. And they try to tear her down, by stating that she should stay home and raise the children, which also insults Sarah’s husband, implying that he is not a good stay at home Dad. I thought all feminists were for all women, apparently not. Sarah Palin is the true definition of feminism. She is a Mom who is also a successful working women and she is breaking a huge glass ceiling.
Also the Liberal biased media consistently goes after Sarah Palin, trying to find anything against her, personal life included. They are all scared of losing to Sarah Palin. She will bring real reform to Washington and is more ready to lead than the Presidential candidate, Barack H. Obama.
The rumors flying around are not true and misleading too. It just goes to show that we all must thoroughly do our own research. Check out what I found about Palin on FactCheck.org:
- Palin did not cut funding for special needs education in Alaska by 62 percent. She didn’t cut it at all. In fact, she increased funding and signed a bill that will triple per-pupil funding over three years for special needs students with high-cost requirements.
- She did not demand that books be banned from the Wasilla library. Some of the books on a widely circulated list were not even in print at the time. The librarian has said Palin asked a “What if?” question, but the librarian continued in her job through most of Palin’s first term.
- She was never a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, a group that wants Alaskans to vote on whether they wish to secede from the United States. She’s been registered as a Republican since May 1982.
- Palin never endorsed or supported Pat Buchanan for president. She once wore a Buchanan button as a “courtesy” when he visited Wasilla, but shortly afterward she was appointed to co-chair of the campaign of Steve Forbes in the state.
- Palin has not pushed for teaching creationism in Alaska’s schools. She has said that students should be allowed to “debate both sides” of the evolution question, but she also said creationism “doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum.”

Being a mom who works doesn’t make you a feminist.
I was hoping you’d placate my anger over the “bridge to nowhere.”
The only reason the librarian kept her job was over the public outcry that resulted from Palin attempting to fire her. While the “list” has been debunked, the fact that she inquired to ban the books should be damning in and of itself.
The only person that said she should stay home with her kids was Dr. Laura. I believe she’s one of yours.
She did cut $275,000 from the Alaska Special Olympics budget.
She linked Iraq to 9/11 less than a week ago.
She was a director for Ted Stevens Excellence In Service Inc, a 527 group for the senator.
She left Wasilla $19.7 million in debt after inheriting a surplus.
The McCain camp is hiding her from reporters, stating that any questions regarding Gov. Palin will be handled by McCain spokespeople “to limit any embarrassing disclosures and carefully shape her image for voters in the rest of the country”
Oh, and her hubby was a member of AIP, you forgot to mention that. She sent them a video for their convention this year, too.
This is all so weird to me. She seems nice though. Although her lack of knowledge on foreign affairs is very alarming to me.

And the polar bears. Please tell me that she doesn’t want to take polar bears off the endangered species list, Ally.
And the rape kits. Shit, I almost forgot about the rape kits.
Bill Finger-
POLAR BEARS ARE NOT DYING. POLAR BEARS ARE FLOURISHING HIPPIE!
@T.J.JR- Funny that you would only bring up the AIP, as it was a sidebar to the seven undeniable facts about you precious Caribou Barbie.
According to the Palin’s religious beliefs, yes, it does matter what her husband does and thinks, as well as organizations he belongs to. It is a tenet in their faith that the wife agree with and support every decision her husband makes. If that’s not off the reservation, I don’t know what is.
Polar bears are currently listed as vulnerable, one step away from endangered. There are myriad reasons for this. Perhaps typing in all caps makes you feel like a badass, but it doesn’t make you any less wrong.
And yes, having her email hacked is deplorable. Perhaps next time she’ll conduct state business from the state account and not circumvent the law ala Cheney.
