The one bailout I do agree with is the automakers. If the big 3 go bankrupt then there will be no more American made automobiles. The auto industry helped make this nation. The assembly line was invented by Henry Ford. Not to mention that industry is responsible for millions of labor laws so our workers can work in safe environments. The American auto industry is the industrial foundation that our nation was built on. I personally have two uncles and a grandfather all retired from General Motors. And pretty much every member of my family has worked there at one time or another.

If we dont bail out Citi group, who cares? There will be other banks to take its place. But to not bail out the big 3 auto companies, we lose an integral part of America.

Ya social programs like universal healthcare and helping out the poor ya these are such horrible ideas lets go back to George Bush's plans because he really minimized government and wasn't the 700 Billion bailout his idea. The only reason why you writing your conservative article about the 60 senatorial seats is because the Republicans have done such a shitty job running this country that the Democrats are pretty much having their way with you. Just sit back and watch how real government is run and go find Sarah Palin and worship her conservative nonsense because your gonna be writing these blogs for at least 8 more years...

I must agree... when will the bailouts end? This is absurd, ridiculous, insane. And of course we fit the bill for somebody else's bad business decisions. Why can't I have a bailout. Maybe Washington will give me a few million if I got stick my hand out?
