If the big 3 go bankrupt then there will be no more American made automobiles. The auto industry helped make this nation. The assembly line was invented by Henry Ford. Not to mention that industry is responsible for millions of labor laws so our workers can work in safe environments. The American auto industry is the industrial foundation that our nation was built on. I personally have two uncles and a grandfather all retired from General Motors. And pretty much every member of my family has worked there at one time or another. If we dont bail out Citi group, who cares? There will be other banks to take its place.
