Supreme Court Deems U.S. Constitution Meaningless
The Supreme Court today has decided that they are not responsible for upholding the Constitution of the United States of America. Article 11 - Section 1 of the Constitution does not matter anymore. The Supreme Court will not even hear Obama’s Nationality case.
Despite Obama’s own family members swearing that Obama was born in Kenya. Despite Obama living in Indonesia and traveling on an Indonesia passport. Despite many people claiming his birth certificate online is a fake. Despite the fact that Obama will not release his college records or real birth certificate, the Supreme Court will not hear the case.
Factcheck.org has said that Obama is a natural born citizen and that is apparently enough for the Supreme Court. Do not forget that factcheck.org is owned by the Liberal Annenberg Foundation.
Who checks to see if a candidate is eligible? A candidate does Not have to prove eligibility until someone challenges it. In order to appear on the ballot, rules vary state to state and none of the states ask for birth certificates. Only the national committee checks for the candidates eligibility Constitutional requirements. So we are just suppose to take the major party’s word! The word from a party where many believe that the Constitution is a living outdated thing that should be changed.
If we find out that Obama is NOT an natural born citizen, then everything he does as President will be void. It will be the biggest Constitutional crisis of all time.
So if Article 11 - Section 1 of the Constitution does not matter, what in the Constitution does matter? As of today, it is all meaningless.
“We, the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution.” Abraham Lincoln

You people just don’t get it, do you? If his mother is American, HE is American. No parent has the right to revoke a child’s citizenship, so although he may become a DUAL citizen (of Indonesia and the U.S.A.), his parents could not revoke his U.S. citizenship. He would have had that when he reach 18, which he didn’t, so he is still a U.S. Citizen.
Racist pigs.
cgardener is mostly right. However, the Donofrio case has nothing to do with Indonesian passports. He’s claiming that because Kenya was a British colony, Obama’s father was technically a British citizen.
Well, so was Lincoln.
There have been nine Presidents with dual citizenship. Nine.
The rest of your argument is pure tin-foil hattery, and you would be wise to seek solace in a heavily padded room.
Boy, somebody sure likes their dead horses good and beaten. The scarier part for me is people buying into garbage like this.
Unfortunately mayorofnowhere, this is not garbage. First off, only one of the three cases against Obama’s eligibility have been thrown out. Still left are the one claiming he renounced his citizenship as a child, and the other is that he was born in Kenya.
The Supreme Court was right to throw out this case, based on the fact that he had dual citizenship. Concerning citizenship, Article II Section 1 reads: “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible for the Office of President…” There is nothing about dual citizenship.
The case stating that he was born in Kenya should be heard though. If it can be proven that he was born in Kenya, he would be ineligible to run for President and should not be allowed to take the oath of Office. If the petitioner can not prove this to the court, then he should be allowed to take the oath of Office and then we can put it behind us.
cgardener, this has nothing to do with being racist. The idea behind not allowing someone to become President that is not a natural born citizen is to prevent a President from having divided loyalties. Yes, there have been dual citizen Presidents, but all of them were born in the United States, or citizens of the United States at the time of the adoption of the Constitution.
