Pelosi Wants Population Control
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has stated that people should stop having babies, because it hurts the economy in these hard times. First of all, doesn’t China have a population control? Why does she want to control the population? She has five kids, but does not want others to have kids.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi boldly defended a move to add birth control funding to the new economic “stimulus” package, claiming “contraception will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.”
Pelosi, the mother of 5 children and 6 grandchildren, who once said, “Nothing in my life will ever, ever compare to being a mom,” seemed to imply babies are somehow a burden on the treasury.
The revelation came during an exchange Sunday morning on ABC’s THIS WEEK.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Hundreds of millions of dollars to expand family planning services. How is that stimulus?
PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for children’s health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.
STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?
PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.
And I think she is terribly wrong economically. A baby boom will help the economy, NOT hurt it. People spend a lot of money on their babies, thus helping the economy. Plus, if there are more people in the world, then there will be more people paying taxes. A constraint on population also enhances our problems with social security and Medicare. If she is so worried about paying for all these special programs, then cut these programs that do not work.
Also, why are they adding hundreds of millions of dollars of birth control funding to the new economic bailout package anyway? This terrible pork should not be in the package. This is all about the desire for more birth control and abortions. And with universal health care next, how will the government decide who lives and dies when it comes to the elderly, the mentally insane, and you?

Pelosi is scary, but full of typical liberal rhetoric. All the time trying to sell their side as helpful to the poor and government should help all people but the rich and corporations. The fact of the matter is liberals time and again show their hatred for all people and love of themselves and their pocketbooks. Even the other posters here have state that life doesn’t matter, rather the government saving money matters, so that everyone can get a bigger piece of the government pie. Its disgusting, vile, immoral and sad how these people will do anything for money, and then lie about it to make themselves feel better.
Her latest statements prove Pelosi is not Pro “Choice”, she is just pro abortion. Choice would imply a decision would have to be made whether or not to bring a child into the world, a decision that should be allowed to be made by the rich and poor alike. Pelosi wants to kill the poor and Obama wants to tax the rich. Is this the age of equality the democrats promised under Obama? Because it feels like discrimination is alive and well and brought to you by your favorite liberals.
